This issue covers the Warsaw Uprising of August/September 1944. It covers both sides of this bloody conflict - on one side the German Wehrmacht, Waffen SS, Police and Russian RONA and Cossack units, and on the other side the Polish Underground Army or AK (Armia Krajowa), and the people of Warsaw.
Included are 99 black and white photographs depicting vehicles of both sides - the AK managed to capture German vehicles and use them against their former owners - this included Panther G, Hetzer and SdKfz 251 D's - some of these are depicted in the 11 colour plates.

This second part on the battle of Warsaw covers the Red Army's assault on the Warsaw on the eastern bank of the Vistula. Even though this battle was linked to the Warsaw Uprising the fighting itself was conducted almost independently. This book describes in detail the battles for the eastern suburbs of the Polish capital which raged from the end of July until October of 1944. In this full English text title are 102 glossy pages, 11 colour plates depicting 33 different colour schemes of vehicles from both combatants and 109 black and white photographs.
