This book has 90 glossy pages and covers the little known battles in the Nomonhan area between the Japanese Kwantung Army and units of the Soviet and Mongolian armies.  This took place between May and September of 1939.  There are 7 colour plates depicting 18 vehicles from both the Soviet and Japanese armies.  Also included are 108 black and white photos covering the battles.
